A Registered Agent is a person or organization that
may be served any process, notice, or demand that is required or permitted by
law to be served on the entity they represent.
Texas law requires that corporate entities (corporations, limited
partnerships, limited liability companies, professional associations,
cooperatives, and real estate investment trusts) operating in the state have a
registered agent (See Texas Business Organizations Code Section 5.201). At the time of the creation of the corporate
entity, the registered agent must be declared.
